HYOSCINE BUTYLBROMIDE AND METAMIZOLE SODIUM INJECTION
Scopin is used for the treatment of diarrhoea, spasmodic colic and oesophageal obstruction, spasmodic colic in the genitourinary system & spasmodic colic and oesophageal obstruction.

Each ml contains :
Metamizole sodium monohydrate (equi. to 443 mg Metamizole)
B.P. 500 mg
Hyoscine butylbromide (equi. to 2.76 mg Hyoscine)
B.P. 4 mg
Benzyl alcohol (As preservative)
B.P. 1.0 % v/v
Water for Injection
B.P. q.s.
INDICATION
Cattle : For the treatment of diarrhoea, spasmodic colic and oesophageal obstruction.
Dogs : For the treatment of spasmodic colic in the genitourinary system.
Horses : For the treatment of spasmodic colic and oesophageal obstruction.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Not to be used with :
Animals with kidney and/or liver disorders.
Hypersensitivity to the active ingredients or (one of) the excipients.
SIDE EFFECTS
Risk of bleeding.
Gastrointestinal irritation and damage gastric ulcers.
Blood count abnormalities.
Papillary necrosis of the kidney.
In very rare cases, anaphylactic reactions and cardiovascular shock may occur.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
