Dexamethasone Sodium Phosphate
B.P. 0.5 mg
Hydrochlorothiazide
B.P. 50 mg
Propylene glycol
B.P. 0.15 ml
Benzyl alcohol (As Preservative)
B.P. 0.01 ml
Water for Injection
B.P. q.s.
INDICATION
Cattle :
- Congestion and oedema of the udder.
- Early persistent lactation oedema.
- Pulmonary congestion and oedema.
- Oedematous infiltration of surgical wounds.
- Oedema in allergic conditions.
Horses :
- Generalised congestion and oedema.
- Oedema of sheath Anasarca.
- Oedema in allergic conditions.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
Dexazide injection may be administered by intravenous, Intramuscular, Subcutaneous injection.

| Cattle and Adult Horses | Preventive treatment : 10 ml daily for 3 days. Curative treatment : Congestion and mild oedema : 10 ml daily for 2 or 3 days. Congestion and severe oedema : 20 ml daily for 2 days and 10 ml on third day. |
| Foals - Calves | 2 ml per 40 – 50 kg body weight daily for 3 days. |
